Mosaics, made out of natural materials such as stone, smalti and glass, are beautiful, enduring artworks, regardless of size.
Commissions can be for a stand-alone piece of fine art, a piece of jewelry, a glass-on-glass window hiding an ugly view, or even a mosaic mural incorporated into a school wall, a fireplace patio, kitchen or bathroom backsplash.
Mosaics are a time and labor-intensive art. Each piece is individually cut and set. The price is based on the size, complexity and materials used in the piece. However, the end result of the commission is a personal, unique, handcrafted work which incorporates the client’s ideas and input.
Examples of Commissioned pieces can be viewed in the Works section of this site
